Looking at homes in person
You'll watch your email for new listings. Perhaps browse sites like Zillow or drive neighborhoods looking for signs. (Neither of which is necessary if we have your email search dialed in.)
You see a few homes that look good enough online to see in person.
Great! Email or text us with:
ML# of each home separated by just a comma. (1234567,9876543,1928375, etc.) Best method.
Also works to send the addresses.
If you would like to drive by first to see if you like the neighborhood that's great. Love or hate the neighborhood? Let us know.
We will set a time to look together.
This is not like on HGTV.
John doesn't usually point out that the room with the sink, stove, and fridge is the kitchen.
He sounds negative pointing out various defects - because you might not have noticed.
Tell John what you like and dislike about each home. You will notice it is not about him convincing you to like something. Much more about John learning what you like and what is important to you. Then providing a less emotional perspective on how well each home fits you.
Some people describe exactly what they want, it happens to be on the market, and we go right to it. They buy the first home they see and it is the best!
Others start looking when the right home is not available.
And others find their priorities shift a bit after seeing some homes.
So you might tour very few or your search might take weeks, visiting a couple dozen homes.
You want to be ready in case you find it fast and patient in case it takes longer than you hoped.
Please dress comfortably. Feel free to bring yourself a snack, water, etc.
Sometimes we meet at a house and take separate vehicles. Sometimes we tour several and you can ride with John. Your preference.
