Clear to Close
Time for a medium celebration!
Cleared to Close means that the mortgage is ready, the appraisal is ready, and the documents needed to close the transaction have been approved!
What remains is the delivery of said documents to the Title Company, funds wired from buyer and lender, and a whole bunch of signatures and initials in all the proper places.
So we are very close to transferring ownership!
The clear to close gets delayed way too often. If it has been delayed for you, you might have been told to head to the title company right away and not bother to look at this page.
