A good friend noticed how the world has gone still and reminded Kimberly and I of Psalm 46:10, "Be still, and know that I am God." People are out walking, smiling and saying hello like never before (from a distance). The few ways we can fight this virus and look out for each other - people are doing! We've all come together by staying 6 feet apart.
I hope your April is healthy.
I hope you get outside a lot (near home - take walks). And say hello.
I hope you are able to work and maintain as much normal as possible in these un-normal times.
As for real estate:
I expect a lull in the market but not a significant change in home values. Demand still far exceeds supply in our area.
If you need to sell a house, I can do it with online showings.
If you need to buy a house, I can still help. We're just going to walk through fewer houses. Showings in general will move online. It's not quite the same experience. Still, we can do it.
You don't get to walk through a custom-built house before it's built, after all. The (hopefully temporary) new normal will be more like that.
If you have no pressure to move and prefer to walk through homes, then waiting makes sense.
